Shipping & Returns Policies

All items ship from our workshop in Denver, Colorado. Each item is personally hand packed in protective shipping materials to assure safe delivery. 

Prior to placing an order, please review the information below regarding our shipping, exchange and return policies.
SHIPPING INFORMATION

Where We Ship

We currently only ship to the continental United States and Canada (tax, duty fees pay apply). We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii or other US Territories. Please check back as we are gradually expanding and may offer more options in the near future.

Estimated Shipping Times

Please allow one to two weeks to ship items. Our pieces are custom made vs mass produced. Each is made by hand then, in some cases, finished with a protective coating and polished. Our finishing process requires drying time between applications and care. 

We appreciate your patience, it will be rewarded with a quality handcrafted item that will last generations.

Standard Shipping Carrier and Fees

Regular shipping is through UPS and USPS. UPS standard rates apply. Our shipping fees cover processing, handling, packaging and delivery. 

Special Delivery Date Requests

Need a special gift delivered on or before a certain date? Leave a message in the comments box when placing your order or email us directly at support@shopbearfare.com. We’ll see what we can do.

Expedited Shipping

Due to the handmade nature of our business, expedited shipping is not possible for most orders. Please email us directly at support@shopbearfare.com to discuss special considerations. All expedited shipping will also be at various carrier rates.

Covid-Safety Packing Procedures

To ensure the safety of our team members and customers, all order packers are required to wear protective face coverings and gloves while handling your purchases along with maintaining social distancing requirements. Each packing station is routinely sanitized on a rigid schedule to maintain cleanliness and to exceed the recommended health guidelines. RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICIES

Most of Bearfare’s items are individually handcrafted to-order. While this is what our customers seek, it dramatically limits our ability to offer returns and exchanges. Please review the policies below before placing an order.

Canceling an Order / Item

Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once we have begun creating the item(s). Once we’ve dimensioned the wood and begun making your item, all sales are final. 

For support concerning a placed order, email us directly at support@shopbearfare.com. We’ll see what we can do. 

Returning and Exchanging Unwanted Items

Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once we have begun creating the item (s). Once we’ve cut the wood and begun making your item, all sales are final. Please note: all our items are unique and handmade so they, naturally, vary slightly in color, tone, grain pattern, and size. In the case a return or exchange is approved, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Please note if the item is not returned in its original condition, you will be responsible for any loss in value.

For support returning or exchanging a placed order, email us directly at returns@shopbearfare.com. We’ll see what we can do. 

Items Damaged in Shipping or Defective

Occasionally, items can be damaged during shipment and are covered by our insurance with the carrier. Sorry for the inconvenience but certain procedures must be followed to ensure we get credited by the carrier.

Please follow the following steps to request a replacement or refund:

  1. Notify Bearfare of a problem within seven (7) days of receiving your items via email at support@shopbearfare.com.
  2. Fill out our Damaged or Incorrect Order Submission form (we will send via email) and attach pictures of the damaged shipping box and product. Pictures must be attached to qualify for an exchange or replacement. 
  3. In the case of an Incorrect Item, ship the incorrect item back to us at the address below within thirty (30) days of receiving your item. Bearfare will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

Once we have received the damaged item, your replacement will be shipped out. Replacement orders are shipped using the shipping method selected in the original order.

Incorrect Items Delivered

Mistakes occasionally happen as with any small, hard working, team wearing many hats. If you receive the wrong product or the item itself is defective, we’ll make it right in the shortest time possible. 

Please follow the following steps to request a replacement or refund:

  1. Notify Bearfare of a problem within seven (7) days of receiving your items via email at support@shopbearfare.com.
  2. Ship the incorrect item back to us at the address below within thirty (30) days of receiving your item. Bearfare will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Please note if the item is not returned in its original condition, you will be responsible for any loss in value.
